Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Janitorial Cleaner to perform a variety of cleaning duties across facilities to ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment for employees, clients and visitors. You will be responsible for routine cleaning tasks, restroom sanitation, waste disposal, window cleaning, and proper equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous janitorial/cleaning experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies and ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and waste according to policy.
• Clean windows, mirrors and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events or special projects as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
