Job summary

Monroe Group Ltd. is seeking a Janitorial Maintenance Technician to keep residents, staff, and visitors in a clean and safe environment. The role includes light building maintenance, unit make-ready duties, and coordination with vendors for vacant unit readiness.

Responsibilities include cleaning, scheduling with supervisors, maintaining supplies and equipment, and performing light electrical/plumbing work as needed. Strong communication and time management are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of maintenance technician experience including HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and appliance repair knowledge.
• Experience in an affordable housing environment preferred.
• Technical training and license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean halls, common areas, and vacant units as described.
• Develop property cleaning schedule with supervisor for adequate coverage.
• Maintain cleaning supply inventory and equipment.
• Coordinate with maintenance for cleaning of vacant units.
• Perform light electrical, plumbing, drywall work, painting, and repairs as needed.
• Complete maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Assist in inspections and with safety/compliance tasks.
