Job summary

Alpine Food Distributing, Inc. is hiring a Facility Janitor to join our growing warehouse team in Milwaukie, OR. You will perform cleaning, basic upkeep, and light maintenance in a fast-paced environment.

The role is full-time, non-exempt, with 4 PM swing shift and a 4-10 schedule, plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential. We offer competitive wages based on experience, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, paid holidays, vacation, and a $2k hiring incentive

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in a varying temperature environment.
• Be able to operate equipment such as a forklift and floor sweeper.
• Basic English skills reading/writing/speaking.
• 1-year previous warehouse or janitorial experience preferred.

Position Highlights:

You will be expected to:

• Be able to reach, lift, stack, and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weights up to 50 lbs.
• Regularly sit, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
• Have the ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, and turn in a safe manner.
• Exhibit manual dexterity and good hand/eye coordination.
• Work in a freezer and refrigerated environments.
• Physical agility and drug screen required
• Background check required
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Transparency:

• This is an active warehouse environment with foot and equipment traffic.
• Expect temperature changes involving outside weather, and the refrigerated and freezer warehouse.

Requirements

**Must successfully complete a post-offer, pre-employment drug screen and background check, as well as a post-offer physical agility test.

**Must be able to successfully complete a basic prescreening Math-Logical Reasoning test, which is conducted at the start of your interview.
