Job summary

Staffmark is seeking a Facility Janitor in Cincinnati, OH for a Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM shift. This hands-on role keeps the facility and grounds clean, safe, and running smoothly, with solid weekly pay.

You will assist with cleaning, basic maintenance, and daily upkeep under the Maintenance Manager, while learning valuable maintenance skills in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance beneficial.

As a Facility Janitor, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment by supporting the upkeep of the facility, equipment, and grounds. Working under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, you will assist with cleaning, basic maintenance tasks, and general facility support while learning valuable maintenance skills. Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance experience is beneficial.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating floor care equipment, buffers, scrubbers, or other custodial equipment is beneficial.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning chemical usage, sanitation procedures, and workplace safety practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and pride in their work are well positioned for success as a Facility Janitor.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely push, pull, and maneuver cleaning carts and equipment.
• Ability to work in a variety of indoor environments while following established safety procedures.
