Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare in West Virginia is seeking a nephrology clinician to cover inpatient consults and an outpatient nephrology clinic schedule. The assignment includes dialysis oversight across HD, PD, PIRRT, and CRRT, with call responsibilities Monday through Friday nights and weekends.

You will manage AKI, CKD, ESRD, hypertension and transplant patients, with potential for long-term engagement; benefits include paid malpractice, travel and housing, and 24/7 Weatherby consultant support.

Qualifications

• Nephrology specialty with ability to provide inpatient consults and outpatient clinic coverage.
• Dialysis oversight across HD, PD, PIRRT and CRRT.
• Management of AKI, CKD, ESRD, hypertension, and transplant patients.
• Catheter placement and kidney biopsies if credentialed.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient nephrology consults and cover outpatient nephrology clinic.
• Oversee dialysis services including HD, PD, PIRRT, CRRT.
• Manage nephrology patients (AKI/CKD/ESRD, hypertension, transplant).
• Perform catheter placement and kidney biopsies if credentialed.

• M-F, 8 am - 4:30 pm -- approx. 40 hours per week
• Night and weekend call required on all days
• Inpatient consults and outpatient nephrology clinic
• Dialysis oversight -- HD, PD, PIRRT, and CRRT
• Management of AKI, CKD, ESRD, hypertension, and transplant patients
• Dialysis access and treatment complication management
• Catheter placement and kidney biopsies -- if credentialed
