Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare offers locum tenens opportunities for otolaryngology coverage in Wisconsin. Providers will handle clinic, surgery, and call coverage, with both inpatient and outpatient work as needed. Endoscopic, sinus, septal and complex head and neck procedures are required.

Patients receive support through paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing, and a Weatherby consultant available 24/7. Assignments are managed via an online portal with streamlined time entry.

Qualifications

• 10 days per month of clinic, surgery and call coverage.
• Inpatient and outpatient coverage required.
• Endoscopic, sinus and septal procedures required.
• Beeper call with 45–60 minute response time.
• Bronchoscopy, laryngoscopy and tracheotomy skills preferred.
• Complex head and neck procedures including thyroidectomy and radical neck surgery.
• Facial procedures such as rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty and reconstruction.
• Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses.
• Assignment details and time entry in online portal.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled coverage 10 days per month across clinics and OR.
• Respond promptly to beeper calls (45–60 min).
• Perform inpatient and outpatient otolaryngology procedures as required.
• Coordinate with Weatherby consultants and staffing portal.
• Ensure timely time entry and reporting via the online system.
