Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a locum tenens breast surgical oncologist for a schedule Mon-Fri, 8 am–5 pm, with no nights or calls. The role includes malignancy-focused care with plastic surgery collaboration, 15–20 patient trials per shift, and required laser certification plus arterial bypass experience.

Rounding and admissions are part of daily duties; nationwide travel support is provided by Weatherby.

Qualifications

• Breast surgical oncology experience required.
• General, laparoscopic, and breast surgery skills required.
• Laser certification and arterial bypass experience required.
• Rounding and admissions experience required.
• Mon-Fri, 8 am–5 pm; no nights, weekends, or call.
• 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off schedule preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage new consults and follow-ups; 15–20 patients per shift.
• Perform breast surgeries in conjunction with plastic surgery.
• Rounding and admissions as part of postoperative care.
• Complete assignment details and time entry in online portal.
