Job summary

CompHealth is assisting a Virginia Beach facility with CRNA coverage for days, evenings and 24/7 call. The role involves general anesthesia for adult and pediatric cases, including spinal, epidural, regional, OB, and complex vascular/orthopedic cases; spine neurosurgery is required but open heart is not.

This assignment offers complimentary housing and travel, comprehensive malpractice coverage, and streamlined credentialing.

Qualifications

• General anesthesia experience for adult and pediatric cases.
• Spinal, epidural, regional and OB anesthesia experience.
• Comfort with complex vascular/orthopedic cases and spine neurosurgery.

• Provide anesthesia services for day, evening, and 24/7 call.
• Support coverage while facility recruits a permanent provider.

Job description

• Shifts include days, evenings, and 24-hr call -- weeknight/weekend call unrestricted

• 8 operating rooms -- facility operating at approximately 80% efficiency

• CRNA in-house 24/7 with additional CRNA on call

• General anesthesia required -- adult cases, pediatric preferred

• Spinal, epidural, regional, and OB anesthesia required

• Complex vascular and complex orthopedic cases required

• Spine neurosurgical cases required -- open heart and thoracic not required

• Coverage needed while facility recruits a permanent provider

• We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly

• We arrange complimentary housing and travel and comprehensive malpractice coverage
