Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician for locum tenens assignments in an active ED setting. You will cover nights, weekends, and holidays, with 8–10 shifts per month, handling 20–25 patients per shift and performing essential ED procedures such as central lines and intubations.

ACLS, BLS, and PALS are required. Weatherby supports physicians with pre-paid travel and housing, paid malpractice, and 24-hour access to a Weatherby consultant.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Board certification in emergency medicine or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Nights, weekends, and holidays with 8–10 shifts per month.
• Manage 20–25 patients per shift in an emergency department setting.
• Perform core EM procedures such as central lines and intubations.
