Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a locum tenens physician specializing in medical oncology and hematology for assignments in New Mexico. The role involves weekday daytime hours (8 am–5 pm) with night call and weekend responsibilities.

Expect participation in clinical trials and weekly tumor boards, with no procedural requirements. Fellowship training is preferred, and Weatherby supports you with travel, housing, and 24/7 consultant access.

Qualifications

• Fellowship in Medical Oncology preferred.
• Experience filling locum tenens assignments is desirable.
• Experience providing patient care in oncology/hematology settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical oncology and hematology care during assigned shifts.
• Participate in weekday night call with shared coverage and 24-hour weekend call at a 1/2 ratio.
• Contribute to clinical trials and weekly tumor board discussions.
