Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking OB/Gyn locum tenens physicians to provide on-call coverage Fri–Mon, 5 pm–5 am. Responsibilities include managing low- and high-risk pregnancies, routine and complicated deliveries, including vaginal, C-section, breech, and VBACs, plus open and laparoscopic gynecology procedures.

The assignment offers paid malpractice insurance and pre-paid travel and housing. Candidates should be proficient in OB ultrasound, amniocentesis, laceration repair, FHR interpretation,

Qualifications

• Experience with routine and complicated deliveries including vaginal, C-section, breech, VBAC.
• Proficient in OB ultrasound, amniocentesis, and laceration repair.
• Ability to interpret FHR and perform forceps deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Provide call coverage Friday to Monday, 5 pm – 5 am.
• Handle low and high-risk pregnancy management and delivery of babies (vaginal, C-section, breech, VBAC).
• Perform open and laparoscopic gynecologic surgeries as needed.
• Utilize OB ultrasound, amniocentesis, and laceration repair skills.
• Enter assignment details and time entries in the online portal.

Job description

• Friday - Monday, 5 pm - 5 am call coverage

• Average 5 patients per shift

From $150.00 to $225.00 hourly
