Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking locum tenens physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners for Missouri assignments. Expect 21-34 shifts per month with 15-20 patients per shift, with multiple 6am–7am options.

Procedures include laceration repair, I&D, intubation, central lines, POCUS, ultrasound-guided IVs, and chest tube placements. ~58,000 visits/year. Benefits include paid malpractice, pre-paid travel and housing, and 24-hour consultant access.

Qualifications

• Must perform laceration repair, I&D, intubation and central line placement as required.
• Proficiency with point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) and ultrasound-guided IVs expected.
• Experience with chest tube procedures preferred or required by assignment.

Responsibilities

• Cover locum tenens shifts; 21–34 shifts per month with 15–20 patients per shift.
• Rotate through multiple shift options from 6am–7am.
• Provide urgent and acute care including laceration repairs, intubations and line placements.
