Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a urology locum tenens physician for a Bemidji, MN assignment. The role includes a Mon-Fri clinic and scheduled OR with no on-call duties, treating about 20 patients weekly and performing around five surgeries per week in a mixed inpatient and outpatient urology setting.

Privileges at the hospital are required, and Weatherby provides paid malpractice, as well as pre-paid travel and housing. Weatherby consultants are available 24/7 to support assignment needs.

Qualifications

• Hospital privileges required.
• Comfort with cystoscopy, TURP, TURBT, vasectomy and related procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clinic and surgical duties in a combined inpatient and outpatient urology setting.
• See approximately 20 patients in clinic and perform about 5 surgeries per week.
• Work Monday through Friday with scheduled OR; no call.
• Two clinic weeks per month with ongoing coverage.
