Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare, a trusted locum tenens provider, seeks a physician for diverse operating room and OB call coverage in the United States. The role includes 7 am–3 pm or 7 am–5 pm shifts on weekdays with 1:3 call, approximately 1,200 cases monthly, and exposure to general anesthesia, trauma, and endoscopy. OB coverage is preferred.

Assignments include travel and housing support. Responsibilities include primary and backup OR duties, 24-hour OB call, and holiday coverage, with compensation

Qualifications

• General anesthesia and trauma experience required.
• Endoscopy experience preferred.
• OB call coverage is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Handle primary OR, backup OR, and 24-hour OB call shifts.
• Provide general anesthesia and acute care for trauma cases.
• No pediatric or transplant cases in assignment.
• Holiday week coverage as needed.
