Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking locum tenens general surgeons to cover adult populations in Arkansas. Assignments include 7–10 days per month with call coverage and bread-and-butter general surgery procedures. ATLS certification is required, and there is ongoing monthly work with competitive compensation.

Weatherby provides paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing, and 24-hour access to a Weatherby consultant to assist with the scheduling and onboarding processes.

Qualifications

• Experience performing bread-and-butter general surgery procedures.
• ATLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide general surgery coverage for adult patients during scheduled locum tenens assignments.
• Handle 7–10 days per month with call coverage.
• Coordinate patient care with the Weatherby consultant team.
