Job summary

Access Group in Little Rock, AR is seeking a Facilities Custodian to uphold a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment that supports day-to-day operations.

Under supervision of the Facility Manager, you will perform cleaning, floor care, restock supplies, report repair needs, and follow safety policies. This role requires reliable, detail-oriented individuals who communicate well and can multitask in a busy setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial tasks to keep the facility clean and safe.
• Carry out inspections of the facility to identify and resolve issues.
• Floor care: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming.
• Clean and disinfect all surfaces throughout the facility.
• Replenish supplies in restrooms, break rooms, kitchenette and kitchen.
• Identify and report potential repairs; complete light maintenance tasks.
• Monitor equipment and supply inventory and request items as necessary.
• Follow health and safety policies and applicable regulations.

POSITION PURPOSE

Under supervision of the Facility Manager ensure facilities are well-cared for, safe and adequate to support business operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & BASIC DUTIES

1. Custodial:
2. Carry out inspections of the facility to identify and resolve issues
3. Carry out activities to ensure facility is kept in top condition
4. Floor care
5. Sweeping, moping, vacuuming
6. Cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces
7. Sinks, countertops, mirrors, floors, toilets, tables, chairs, refrigerators, microwaves, walls and woodwork, doors, wall hangings, baseboards, etc.
8. Clean windows
9. Replenish supplies in restrooms, break rooms, kitchenette and kitchen
10. Empty trash cans into disposal areas
11. Identify and report possible repairs Complete light maintenance tasks
12. Monitor equipment and supply inventory and request items when necessary
13. Safety:
14. Follow health and safety policies
15. Compliance with O.S.H.A., A.D.A., HAZ-MAT, playground equipment safety, Childcare licensure or other Medicaid programs such as EIDT, CARF, fire code, etc.)
16. Completes relevant and approved continuing professional education each year as required to maintain professional standards.
17. May perform other related or non-related duties, as assigned.
