Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a detail-oriented Facility Housekeeper to maintain clean and inviting storage units, hallways, restrooms, and common areas at our Yakima facility. You will help keep the site organized, proactive, and safe, supporting a busy service environment.

The position is based at 2304 E Nob Hill Blvd, Yakima, WA 98901, with a compensation range of $17.13 to $18.00 per hour. U-Haul offers extensive benefits and opportunities for advancement to dedicated team members.

Facility Housekeeper Responsibilities:

• Provide sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, and mopping for storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevator, etc.

Facility Housekeeper Minimum Qualifications:

Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts or machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of remaining stationary, moving around outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50lbs assisted or unassisted.
