Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Facility Housekeeper to keep storage facilities clean and inviting. You will sweep, vacuum, wipe surfaces, restrooms, and common areas, dispose of trash, and help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies. This role supports a safe, well-organized work environment.

Ideal candidates are organized, proactive, and willing to learn. You must be able to lift and move supplies up to 50 lbs and work in a dynamic facility setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, and mopping for storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevator, etc.

Facility Housekeeper Responsibilities

Work Environment

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts or machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.

Physical Demands

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of remaining stationary, moving around outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50lbs assisted or unassisted.
