Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Facility Housekeeper to maintain clean and inviting storage facilities at 1129 Morgan Blvd, Harlingen, TX 78550. Your responsibilities include sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, wiping surfaces, and disposing of trash to ensure a sanitary environment.

You’ll manage cleaning supplies and may perform additional duties as assigned. The role emphasizes organization, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently while following safety guidelines in a physically active

Facility Housekeeper Responsibilities:

• Provide sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, and mopping for storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevator, etc.

Facility Housekeeper Minimum Qualifications:

Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts or machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of remaining stationary, moving around outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50lbs assisted or unassisted.
