U-Haul is seeking a Facility Housekeeper to keep storage units, hallways and restrooms clean and inviting. The role offers on-the-job training, career stability and opportunities for advancement, with a benefits package including health insurance and 401k options.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive and willing to learn, capable of performing routine cleaning tasks and handling light physical work. This full-time position is based at the Brockton, MA facility with standard work

Responsabilidades

• Provide sweeping, vacuuming, wiping and mopping for storage units, hallways, restrooms and elevator areas.
• Dispose of trash and maintain cleanliness of the facility.
• Maintain and track cleaning supply inventory, requesting supplies as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Facility Housekeeper Responsibilities

• Provide sweeping, vacuuming, wiping, and mopping for storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevator, etc.
• Dispose of trash
• Maintain and track cleaning supply inventory, requesting supplies as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Facility Housekeeper Minimum Qualifications

Work Environment

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts or machines, fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields.

Physical Demands

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of remaining stationary, moving around outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50lbs assisted or unassisted.
