Job summary

Illinois Department of Corrections is seeking a PUBLIC SERVICE ADMINISTRATOR - 37015 to oversee the District 4 Facility Inquiry Board and monitor grievance processes at Logan Correctional Center. You will coordinate Grievance Officers, ARB interactions, and staff training to ensure policy compliance and accountability.

The role requires a four-year college degree and at least three years of progressive administrative experience.

Qualifications

• Requires 4 years of college (business or public administration preferred).
• Requires 3 years of progressively responsible administrative experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the District 4 Facility Inquiry Board Oversight Manager.
• Provide oversight of Grievance Officers at facilities in the District.
• Liaise between facility Grievance Officers and the Administrative Review Board (ARB).
• Serve as spokesperson for the Chief Inspector on issues affecting facility grievance hearings for Individuals in Custody.
• Develop and deliver training to Grievance Officers in the District.
