Job summary

Soul City Church is seeking a Part-Time Facility Support Coordinator to keep spaces safe, welcoming, and ministry-ready. This role operates hands-on, often as the last in the building on weekdays and a key presence on weekends, handling setup, cleanup, and daily readiness under the Facilities Manager.

Schedule is two days per week, Monday-Thursday evenings, plus occasional Saturdays and Sundays; candidates should enjoy physical work, be reliable, and ready to support ministry environments with

Qualifications

• 1+ year in hospitality, facilities, or event environments.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort working independently.

Responsibilities

• 35% Room Setup & Reset - Complete room flips, setups, and resets for ministry programs, events, and meetings.
• 25% Hospitality & Event Presence - Be a welcoming and helpful presence in the lobby and common spaces during ministry events.
• 20% Checklists & Building Close - Execute facilities checklist: lights, locks, tidiness, cover terrace furniture, water plants, start and empty the staff dishwasher, etc. Communicate building-related issues and next-day needs to the Facilities Manager.
• 20% Weekend Team Support - Support hospitality teams on Sundays including parking and flip teams. May support Saturday building events as needed.
