Job summary

The Electrician position is located at the Phoenix VA Medical Center (PVAMC) within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Facilities Management Service. The primary purpose is to perform electrical maintenance, repair, construction and troubleshooting duties under the supervision of the Electric Shop Supervisor.

Qualifications require evidence of training or experience sufficient to perform the duties, evaluated according to the OPM Federal Wage System

• Experience or training demonstrating ability to perform electrical work; evidence supported by resume.
• Applicants will be evaluated under the OPM Federal Wage System Qualification Standards.
• Volunteer work or related experience may count toward qualification.
