Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Facility Development/MHE Technology Manager to lead mechanical handling and facility projects nationwide, including automation layouts and capital improvements.

You will oversee scope, design, budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination, while ensuring compliance with permits and safety standards. The role requires a BS in engineering and 3–5 years PM experience in logistics/engineering, with 10+ years in engineering preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
• 3-5 years of project management experience in logistics/engineering.
• 10+ years of engineering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs project management and engineering functions including scope, design, budgeting, scheduling, solution layouts, purchasing, cost estimation and control, implementation, system integration, documentation, start-up and training.
• Designs and installs safe mechanical and material handling systems and processes.
• Manages outside contractors and vendors for engineering and maintenance projects.
• Coordinates and leads local authority license, permitting, and approval requirements.
• Partners with operations and solutions personnel to develop requirements and define solution sets.
