Job summary

Regal is hiring a janitorial team member to clean auditoriums, lobbies, restrooms and non-public areas before opening. Responsibilities include routine attendance, reporting damages, maintaining security, and following safety and training procedures. The role pays $18.25 per hour and includes free movie passes and a 401(k) retirement plan with company match after six months. Must be 18+ and prefer prior janitorial experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Prior janitorial experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form with management staff.

Responsibilities

• Regular and Consistent Attendance
• Cleaning all auditoriums prior to opening for business
• Ensuring all lobby and hallway areas are properly cleaned prior to opening for business
• Ensuring all restrooms are clean and stocked prior to opening for business
• Ensuring the janitorial closet area is clean, organized and stocked with needed supplies
• Expected to use equipment such as vacuums and compactor
• Reporting any facility damage found to the General Manager
• Responsible for securing and reporting any found items to management.
• Maintain building security in keeping doors secured and alarm set and disabled as required (if applicable).
• Ensure all non-public areas are secure including arming, disarming and general operation of the alarm system.
• Abide by all federal and state laws with regards to breaks and/or meal periods.
• Have knowledge of all safety and emergency procedures.
• Required to read and understand training materials that will cover subjects such as sexual harassment and discrimination.
