Job summary

CSL Plasma is seeking a custodian at our Charlotte, NC collection center. The role involves daily cleaning of break rooms, donor waiting areas, restrooms, and general center spaces, plus minor maintenance tasks and safe handling of supplies.

You may assist with recycling and materials, observe safety protocols, and support center operations as needed. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 months of custodian experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three (3) months experience as a custodian preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be able to see and speak with customers and observe equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Cleans tables, chairs, cabinets, counters and appliances in break room and donor waiting area.
• Vacuum carpets, dust furniture and remove trash.
• Cleans windows and doors daily.
• Performs minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, replacing ceiling tiles, painting, minor plumbing and carpentry tasks.
• Monitors grounds and parking lots and picks up litter.
• Assists in recycling and repackaging of shipping materials.
• Inspects and cleans restrooms; replaces paper and soap supplies.
• Receives supplies from vendors and moves supplies to storage and quarantined areas.
• Maintains safe, clean work environment and follows HSE/OSHA policies and procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality of all personnel, donor and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas.
• Bilingual skills may be required.
• Perform job-related duties as assigned.
