Job summary

Controlled Contamination Services is hiring a Janitor to maintain interior buildings and facilities, including offices, lobbies, and restrooms. The role involves cleaning, sanitizing, and basic maintenance tasks as directed by supervision within client contracts.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED (or related experience) and be comfortable performing routine cleaning and safety procedures in a controlled environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or one year related experience or training; or equivalent combination
• Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and measurement (e.g., dollars, pounds, ounces) and basic arithmetic

Responsibilities

• Pick up trash and replace liners in assigned areas.
• Vacuum, mop, strip and wax floors, and sweep all floor areas.
• Dust walls and glass; polish and sanitize surfaces.
• Wash, clean, wipe down, sponge, rinse, scour and disinfect any assigned area.
• Note and report any areas in need of repair or hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Follow safety rules and company policies; report damage or safety concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
