Job summary

Responsibilities

• General Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and service bathrooms, rooms, offices, and common areas within the facility. Perform floor maintenance, including mopping, buffing, waxing, and stripping floors as necessary.
• Sanitation and Disinfection: Clean and disinfect bed mattresses, break down beds, and clean behind and under mattresses. Ensure trash baskets are emptied regularly, and rooms are properly arranged.
• Specialized Tasks: Wash, dry, fold, and properly store residents’ clothing and linens when requested. Maintain cleanliness and order in utility storage rooms, ensuring they are free from fire hazards.
• Windows, Doors, and Fixtures: Clean and polish windows, sills, wooden doors, and glass in partitions to maintain a pristine appearance.
• Supplies and Equipment: Safely handle housekeeping supplies and operate utility carts, ensuring proper storage after use.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other staff to ensure that all cleaning and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.
