The Facility Coordinator supports the successful execution of events and rentals at Mark Arts by ensuring spaces are properly prepared, maintained, and reset. Working closely with the Event Manager, this position is responsible for the hands-on setup and breakdown of event spaces, including arranging furniture and equipment according to event plans and ensuring spaces are clean, organized, and guest-ready.
This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, enjoys hands-on work, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced event environment.
This is a part-time, hourly position with variable hours based on the event and rental schedule. Evening and weekend availability is required. The pay rate is $15.00 per hour.
Duties
- Complete event setups according to floor plans and Event Manager instructions, including arranging tables, chairs, furniture, and equipment.
- Prepare event spaces and ensure they are clean, organized, and guest-ready prior to events.
- Complete event breakdowns, room transitions, and resets efficiently following events.
- Safely move, handle, and store event furniture and equipment.
- Complete light cleaning of tables, chairs, surfaces, and event areas before and after events as needed.
- Monitor facility conditions and promptly report maintenance, equipment, safety, or repair needs.
- Maintain organized event equipment, furniture, and storage areas.
- Follow established facility setup and safety procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
- Previous experience in events, facilities, hospitality, or another related hands-on environment preferred but not required.
- Must be able to learn and follow Mark Arts facility setup and safety procedures.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, and carry throughout shifts.
- Frequently lifts and/or moves furniture, equipment, and other objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to remain physically active for extended periods during event setup and breakdown.
- Work may include evenings and weekends and may take place in a moderately noisy, active event environment.
- Must follow established safety practices when moving furniture and equipment.
