Job summary

Facility Services Management Inc. seeks a skilled Builder Facility Assessor to perform FCAs and inventories supporting the Army BOS program.

You will inspect facilities, evaluate building systems, document deficiencies, and update the Army BUILDER SMS and BRED databases. Applicants should have 5+ years in facilities maintenance or related fields, strong drawing interpretation, and familiarity with UNIFORMAT II, GIS/CAD tools, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
• Minimum five years in facilities maintenance, construction, engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structures, roof, fire protection and envelopes.
• Ability to read construction drawings and technical documents.
• Experience with Army BUILDER SMS and BRED data systems.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office; field data collection with tablets.

Responsibilities

• Perform FCAs for assigned facilities and conduct visual inspections.
• Inventory components using ASTM UNIFORMAT II; document deficiencies.
• Enter data into BUILDER SMS and BRED; verify quantities and characteristics.
• Interpret drawings to verify existing conditions and identify system gaps.
• Photograph facilities per installation security requirements and record findings.
• Coordinate facility access with Government representatives and occupants.
• Identify hazardous conditions and report findings through procedures.
• Support QA reviews, annual inspections, and database updates.
