Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Janitorial Cleaner to perform a variety of cleaning duties across assigned facilities. The role supports a clean, safe, and orderly environment and contributes to a positive experience for employees, clients, and visitors.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning, restroom sanitation, waste disposal, window and surface cleaning, and proper storage of equipment. Candidates with prior cleaning experience and a commitment to quality are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable work ethic and punctuality.
• Experience in janitorial or cleaning roles is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality are required.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment and safety standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Empty trash and recycling bins in accordance with company policies.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
