Job summary

ABM is seeking a reliable Janitorial Cleaner to perform a variety of cleaning duties across assigned facilities. This role helps maintain a safe, clean environment and contributes to a positive experience for employees, clients, and visitors.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitizing restrooms, restocking supplies, and reporting safety hazards. High school diploma preferred; prior janitorial experience a plus; ability to work independently and follow safety rules.

Qualifications

• Requires High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience in janitorial, custodial, or cleaning is a plus.
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiar with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Empty trash and recycling in accordance with company policies.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
