Job summary

ABM Industries in North Charleston, SC is seeking a reliable Janitorial Cleaner to perform a variety of cleaning duties across assigned facilities, ensuring a clean, safe, and orderly environment for employees, clients, and visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous janitorial/custodial cleaning experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, ensure hygiene standards.
• Empty trash and recycling per policy.
• Clean windows and glass surfaces.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings or events.
• Follow safety procedures and cleaning protocols.
