bluechip-pro is seeking a diligent janitorial worker to perform cleaning tasks across assigned facilities in Lexington, KY. The role emphasizes high-dusting, sanitizing, bathroom cleaning, trash removal and floor care to maintain sanitary and orderly spaces.

Applicants should be able to follow written and spoken instructions, operate cleaning equipment, and adhere to safety standards. The position involves routine inspections and responsive maintenance of common areas and exterior spaces.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic janitorial work.
• Familiar with safety practices and MSDS basics.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Clear communication with coworkers and supervisor.
• Operate powered and non-powered janitorial equipment.
• Read and interpret cleaning labels and warnings.

Responsibilities

• High Dusting: clean surfaces above shoulder height using proper tools.
• Sanitizing/Spot Cleaning: disinfect surfaces around the room and wipe door handles.
• Bathroom Cleaning: clean sinks, toilet seat, toilet bowl and dispensers daily.
• Empty Trash Cans: replace liners and dispose of waste.
• Floor Dusting or Vacuuming: use dust mop and vacuum under furniture.
• Grounds care: manage exterior debris and litter in walkways and entrances.
• Public Common Areas: wipe glass, clean planters, check for cobwebs and dust.
