Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor in Miami to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside client sites. The role supports flexible shifts with morning and afternoon coverage, Monday through Friday and Sunday, and offers weekly pay.

The Janitor will follow cleaning protocols, operate cleaning equipment, and ensure restrooms and common areas are maintained to standards. High school diploma or 6 months janitorial experience are acceptable; on-the-job training is

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of six (6) months of janitorial experience.
On-the-job training will be provided.
Attention to detail.
Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
Empty trash cans and dispose of waste; use of a compactor for certain materials.
Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipment.
Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
Follow housekeeping schedule.
Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers.
Other duties as assigned per client needs.
