Job summary

SSC Services For Education is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time janitor positions at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Belton, TX 76513. Online applications are accepted only. Shifts include mornings and evenings with flexible scheduling to meet needs.

Responsibilities

• Keeps buildings clean and orderly.
• Performs heavy cleaning duties as described, including floors, walls, glass, and rubbish.
• Assists with moving and arranging furniture for cleaning and returns items to place.
• Cleans assigned areas with appropriate materials and equipment; sanitizes all surfaces per eight-step procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards; maintains a safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Takes initiative to identify areas needing cleaning and completes tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Adheres to federal, state and county guidelines; completes all tasks as directed.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs, and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
• Contributes to the team and maintains professionalism with customers and colleagues.
