Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a reliable Facility Cleaner in Orlando, FL to maintain a clean, safe office environment.

This full-time role offers 40 hours per week and year-round stability, with a starting wage of $14.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package after 60 days. Responsibilities include cleaning offices and restrooms, restocking supplies, and ensuring safe operation of cleaning equipment while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous commercial or office cleaning experience preferred, but training is available.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and moving continuously throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain office spaces, restrooms, breakrooms, corridors, and common areas.
• Perform routine tasks including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and window cleaning.
• Restock paper products, hand sanitizer, soap, and other routine office supplies.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is safely operated, properly maintained, and stored correctly.
• Follow all company safety procedures and standards regarding hazardous materials and chemical handling.
• Report facilities issues, maintenance needs, or safety hazards to management promptly.

A General Laborer is responsible for safely and efficiently performing general labor duties at a hauling company, transfer station, materials recycling facility (MRF) or landfill. Responsibilities may include such things as yard clean-up, fueling vehicles and equipment, general vehicle operation, general office maintenance and other related duties.
