Job summary

CorTech dba JobsRUs is seeking a Facility Cleaner in Ogdensburg, NY to perform daily cleaning and sanitation across the building. The role includes restroom and kitchen disinfection, floors care, and routine dusting, with duties fluctuating for seasonal needs and occasional event setup.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM with overtime as required. Benefits include weekly pay, health options, and a 401(k) plan, reflecting a stable on-site position in upstate New York.

Responsibilities

• Daily general cleaning of assigned areas throughout the building.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, break areas, and kitchen, including appliances.
• Keep floors swept, mopped, and vacuumed.
• Regularly dust common area walls, partitions, woodwork, doors, wall hangings, and baseboards.
• Replenish supplies in the restrooms, break areas, and kitchen.
• Make coffee in the main break room each day.
• Collect individual trash / recycling and place in proper disposal receptacles.
• Setup and cleanup of items necessary for special on-site company events such as luncheons and client meetings.
• Seasonal duties: Spring/Summer weeding around building/grounds, Winter shove snow from emergency exits as necessary.
• Adhere to manufacturers' instructions when mixing cleaning solutions.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE when performing cleaning, chemical-handling, and manufacturing-support duties.
• Assist the PREP area part-time by completing assigned preparation and assembly tasks and recording work performed on assigned work orders.

Position Details

• Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM (Overtime is required)

Key Responsibilities

• Daily general cleaning of assigned areas throughout the building.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, break areas, and kitchen, including appliances.
• Keep floors swept, mopped, and vacuumed.
• Regularly dust common area walls, partitions, woodwork, doors, wall hangings, and baseboards.
• Replenish supplies in the restrooms, break areas, and kitchen.

  • Winter: Shovel to keep emergency exits clear of snow (as necessary)
