Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assistance with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Monitor vital signs and intake/output; report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with basic procedures and patient care tasks as assigned.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety and dignity at all times.
• Maintain accurate documentation per facility policies.
• Follow infection control, safety and HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.


• Monitor and record vital signs, intake and output, and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff.


• Assist nurses and healthcare providers with basic procedures and patient care tasks as assigned.


• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.


• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies.


• Follow all infection control, safety, and HIPAA regulations.


• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams.


• Adapt quickly to different facility environments, policies, and patient populations.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Hawaii.


• Minimum 1 year of CNA experience in a facility-based setting (LTC, hospital, clinic, or similar) preferred.


• Current BLS/CPR certification.
