Facility Attendant - Customer Service

Taunton, MA

Expected salary range: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour. Compensation based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions and advise customers in selecting building materials and supplies.
• Cut lumber and related materials to the size requested by customers.
• Assist customers in loading purchased materials into their vehicles.
• Mark prices on merchandise or price stickers according to pricing guides.
• Straighten materials on display to maintain safe and orderly sales areas.
• Cover exposed materials, when required, to prevent weather damage.
• Count material and record totals on inventory sheets.
• Participate in special projects as necessary and be available for weekend work.

Qualifications

• Entry‑level position; heavier lifting required.
• Knowledge of building materials helpful.
• Bi‑lingual a plus.
• Availability on weekends.
