Hours vary - includes mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Under general supervision, maintains and provides basic custodial care for the entire facility during operational hours, including locker rooms where applicable.

Essential functions include:

1. Performing sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning restroom facilities and fixtures, and replenishing supplies during operational hours.
2. Empties and cleans waste receptacles.
3. Washes windows, mirrors, and walls with non-toxic chemicals.
4. Maintaining locker rooms when assigned, including mopping floors, cleaning mirrors, lockers, showers, and sinks.
5. Assisting with room rental set-ups.
6. Supervising various areas of the facility and assisting Building Supervisor on nights or weekends.
7. Ensuring safety measures are observed.
8. Reporting issues to supervisor/management.
9. Responding to emergencies and maintaining incident reports.
10. Following city and departmental policies, rules, and regulations.
11. Opening and closing facility doors when necessary.
12. Performing other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience: Must be at least 16 years old. Previous cleaning experience preferred.

Licensing/Certification: May require the ability to travel to various locations.

• Knowledge of policies, procedures, and goals of the City of Thornton.
