Job summary

Skechers, the Comfort Technology Company®, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our Southern California Distribution Center in Moreno Valley. The role focuses on keeping industrial equipment running and facilities well maintained.

The position requires 4–5+ years in maintenance, CAL OSHA certification for Reach/Order Picker equipment, and strong hands-on capabilities with an emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 4-5+ years in Maintenance; specific knowledge of scanners, print & apply machines a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operation of industrial equipment in the Distribution Center.
• Perform general roof inspections and maintenance tasks (roofs, drains, exhaust fans, AC, membrane).
• Handle landscaping, plumbing, painting, carpentry, lighting, and drywall installation.
• Work with electrical control panels; assess energy and electrical safety.
• Support housekeeping and safety programs for all personnel.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
This individual will be responsible for but not limited to the maintaining of the operation of industrial equipment throughout the Distribution Center.
Hourly Pay Range: $24 - $26/hour
Work Schedule: Sunday - Thursday / 9am - 5:30pm

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Experience with Distribution and/or commercial building maintenance,
• General roof inspections (Roof Drains, Exhaust fans, AC, Roof membrane)
• Landscaping
• Plumbing
• Painting
• Carpentry
• Lighting
• Knowledge of electricity and electric control panels (Any training or schooling a plus)
• Drywall installation and repair
• Concrete repairs & coatings
• High bay racking
• Roll up doors
• Janitorial requirements and supplies (good housekeeping)
• Building safety and safety for all personnel
• Ability to identify facility needs and or potential problem areas
• Ability to use all shop tools

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

• Must be CAL OSHA certified on a Reach and/or Order Picker/Walker Rider equipment, etc.
• Ability to keep the department OSHA Compliant
• Extensive knowledge of all company policies and procedures with an emphasis on safety
• Communicate with upper management on a daily basis
• Ability to take directives from Maintenance Manager
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Must be detail oriented,
• Perform housekeeping duties when needed,
• Must be able to take constructive criticism
• Ability to work in a professional and courteous manner at all times,
• Must be able to perform any other special projects and general requests made by direct supervisor as needed
• Ability to contribute hands on
• Work with minimal supervision

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• 4-5+ years in Maintenance; specific knowledge of scanners, print & apply machines a plus

Pay Range $24 - $26 an hour
