Job summary

Axiom Space seeks a resilient Facilities Technician to support expanding and outfitting our facilities with reliable systems and proactive maintenance. You will work with the Facilities team to ensure safety, quality, and timely project execution in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma or trade school background, 5+ years in facilities, and HVAC, electrical, or plumbing experience, plus strong problem-solving and communication skills to coordinate across teams

Qualifications

• High school Diploma/GED or trade school equivalent.
• 5+ years of facilities experience.
• HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing experience preferred.
• Ability to work in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and problem-solve proactively.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
• Maintain and repair facilities and equipment.
• Provide scheduled and emergency repairs.
• Communicate with management on progress and issues.
• Oversee and install/repair HVAC, cabinets, lighting, and related items.
• Follow safety regulations and keep work areas clean and orderly.
• Visit job sites daily to document quality, safety, and progress.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and leadership throughout projects.
• Apply agile project management methodologies as applicable.
