Job summary

This hands-on role requires an apprenticeship in trades and ~4 years in facilities or related fields, with the ability to lift 50 lbs and use hand/power tools. You will partner with operations and hospitality teams and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship in trades required or equivalent.
• ~4 years in facilities maintenance, building operations, hospitality or spa environment a plus.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and prioritize tasks without constant supervision.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical duties.
• Certifications such as CPO, CPR, First Aid are a plus (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of interior and exterior areas to identify maintenance needs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on systems, including HVAC, pools, saunas, steam, plumbing, and kitchen equipment.
• Troubleshoot and complete repair projects efficiently and safely.
• Maintain clean, organized back-of-house and mechanical spaces.
• Respond to maintenance requests and communicate timelines clearly.
• Track and manage repair tickets and update logs.
• Assist with equipment setup, replacements, and improvements.
• Support safety procedures and emergency protocols.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and parts; notify leadership when restocking.
• Collaborate with operations, housekeeping, and hospitality teams to support facility standards.
