Job summary

24 Hour Fitness is seeking a District Facilities Specialist to support clubs within a district, ensuring safety, repair, and maintenance of facilities. The role covers trades such as plumbing, HVAC, electrical, fire safety, and pool equipment, contributing to a high standard of facilities functionality and a positive member experience.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, scheduling maintenance, logging work orders, and coordinating with vendors.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in a facilities, trade, or engineering role.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and adhere to schedules and calendared events.
• Ability to read Standard operating procedures and equipment instructional guides.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly organized and able to handle a multi‑task environment.
• High level of professionalism, honesty, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
• Diligence and understanding of liability and safety in a public business.
• Ability to manage and track work orders for multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble gym and building equipment and ensure parts function.
• Troubleshoot equipment and restore to working status, including pools, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, boilers, and related systems.
• Log all repair work in the club workorder system.
• Communicate with vendors and technical support to diagnose issues and order parts.
• Partner with the District Repair and Maintenance Manager to create a facility maintenance calendar.
• Prioritize and address emergency facility issues as needed.
• Follow OSHA, company, and Facilities safety guidelines daily.
• Ensure proper operation of interior and exterior club areas within leased premises.
