Job summary

Uline is hiring a Facilities Assistant at our Pleasant Prairie location to maintain and repair a 1.5 million square foot facility. You will perform tasks from drywall repair to office setup and event teardown, while operating forklifts and utility vehicles.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in facilities or maintenance, basic hand/power tool experience, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. The role is on-site with strong benefits including health insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in facilities, building maintenance, janitorial, construction or carpentry.
• Prior experience with hand and power tools.
• Occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 - 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on drywall patching, painting, doors, locks, racks, warehouse equipment and restrooms.
• Install, reconfigure and repair modular workstations and office setups.
• Setup and tear down events.
• Clean warehouse and office spaces as well as the building’s exterior.
• Operate utility vehicles, forklifts and cargo vans.
• Assist other Facilities teams as needed.
