Job summary

A leading facilities service provider is looking for a Facilities Support Technician in Madison, Wisconsin. This role involves performing maintenance tasks to ensure safe and efficient operation of laboratory and infrastructural facilities. Responsibilities include heating and cooling systems maintenance, grounds-keeping tasks, and adherence to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have experience with AC/Heating systems, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift heavy equipment, making it suited for those with a background in facilities maintenance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years training or experience in AC/Heat systems, lab maintenance, and general maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license for local travel and good driving record.
• Must be a US Citizen able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain infrastructure and assist with critical repairs.
• Operate and maintain heating and air conditioning systems.
• Perform routine grounds keeping and maintenance work.
