Job summary

Rocket EMS in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Facilities Technician to keep our buildings, infrastructure, and facility systems safe, reliable, and efficient. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and building systems while supporting production teams.

Ideal candidates have strong troubleshooting, solid mechanical and electrical aptitude, and the ability to respond quickly to facility issues in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical certification in HVAC, electrical, facilities maintenance, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of facility maintenance experience in manufacturing, industrial, or commercial settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility systems including HVAC, electrical, lighting, plumbing, and compressed air.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues throughout the facility.
• Respond quickly to facility interruptions to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, PM logs, work orders and repairs.
• Support production teams by ensuring utilities operate safely and continuously.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for repairs and projects.
• Monitor doors, docks, flooring, safety systems, and access hardware.
• Assist with installation and relocation of equipment requiring facility support.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with codes, safety standards, and ESD protocols.
