Job summary

Ruger Firearms in Mayodan, NC is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform preventative, predictive and routine maintenance on plant facilities and equipment. The role requires safe, efficient work to minimize downtime while following environmental and safety guidelines.

You will use hand and power tools, read simple drawings, and maintain building systems including HVAC and plumbing. Starting wage is based on experience and shift, with quarterly profit sharing and a benefits

Qualifications

• Understanding OSHA/NFPA/EPA regs and safety standards.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, air compressors and building systems.
• Able to read simple drawings and schematics and use maintenance tools.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Ability to operate forklifts and aerial equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and routine maintenance on facilities and equipment.
• Collaborate with plant personnel and contractors to ensure safe operations.
• Follow environmental and safety guidelines to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret drawings and maintenance manuals as required.
