Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Facilities Technician II in Westborough, MA. The role supports maintenance and improvement of manufacturing facilities within the Operations Department, with a focus on safety and quality.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot issues, perform hardware inspections, and help update SOPs while supporting process improvements and cross-functional collaboration to ensure optimal facility operations.

Qualifications

• Troubleshooting installation, fault-finding and repairs in a manufacturing or facilities context.
• Ability to work proactively and independently while managing multiple assignments.
• Strong written and verbal communication with peers and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting activities for manufacturing facilities, using data and observations to diagnose issues.
• Conduct hardware inspections, identify discrepancies, and document findings to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Assist in maintaining and updating facility SOPs, documenting process improvements and changes.
• Support small-scale process improvement initiatives such as 6S or defect reduction projects within the facility environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance manufacturing support processes and ensure optimal facility operations.
